J.Lo

August 9, 2007

Jennifer Lopez mp3 Jennifer Lopez the highest paid latina actress of all time. Jennifer Lopez considered by many to be this era’s new sex pot. Jennifer Lopez the only “music artist” who should pay us for watching her act, listening to her sing. And for all the time she spends walking around butt naked, she should have spent taking voice lessons. I mean madonna did do it first-and bettr I might add. And speaking of Madonna isn’t this trying to be one of her discs. The first single “Say My Nam…Opp’s I mean “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” is just a rippoff of the now trademark Destiny Child’s sound. Do we really need another song about someone else’s money? Another disgusting track is “Secretly” a song in which Lopez sounds as if she just left a room full of cigar smokers and came out with fleghm in her throat. The production teams do try to cover up Lopex’s flaws. Her inability to sing is something that they can’t work around. She does have the abiliy to carry a tune but only a few steps though. The disc does have a little bit of sunshine at least. “Come Over” plays up on Jennifer’s sex kitten persona lovely as she plays willing participant to all of your desires. But for all it’s worth Jenifer Lopez is like your second love. She is not the original but does have creepy qualities that your first love had. Lopez has the Steps of Paula Abdul, the star quality and production of Janet Jackson and the sassiness just good enogugh to win all the Teen People “Artist Of The Year” awards that her little arms can carry.

Rebirth

July 24, 2007

Rebirth mp3I really wasn’t expecting Jennifer Lopez’s fourth proper album to be all that great, because I learned early on that when an artist releases an average album and then follows it up with an album called Rebirth, it’s supposed to take us back to the good ol’ days when really the album just sucks (ask Keith Sweat). And after listening to the album, I discovered I was right.

Jennifer does sing a tad better on here than she did on This Is Me…Then (I still don’t know what that means), but it doesn’t really help matters that much. The album’s opener and first single, “Get Right”, is the kind of song that you like to listen to but you don’t want to admit it to anyone. But that’s the only song on here that really stands out. Other reviewers seem to like “Whatever You Wanna Do” and “Cherry Pie”, but I think both of those songs are unlistenable. And the sensual “Step Into My World” is really cheesy.

I think “Hold You Down” is overrated, and there’s something else I’d like to mention. It seems that whenever Fat Joe guests with one of his Latina sistas, he drops the corniest verses possible. I was able to tolerate him on Thalìa’s “I Want You”, but here he just makes a generic song worse, especially when he says to a foe: “Get behind me and J. Lo, I simply state/You’re better off sweepin’ leaves on a windy day.” Is he serious?

Most of the rest of the songs are filler, like “Ryde Or Die” and “I Got You”. But although the smooth “He’ll Be Back” isn’t THE greatest song, it’s still rather interesting to hear a Timbaland-produced song not made for the club. Anyway, since this is Jennifer Lopez, this album probably won’t have any trouble going multi-platinum, but if you weren’t won over by her vocals to begin with, then Rebirth definitely won’t do it for you.

J to tha L-O! The Remixes

July 24, 2007

I have Jennfer’s whole discography from “on the 6” to “this is me…then”, they’re all good 8my personal favorites are: “on the 6” and “this is me…then”). Jennifer Lopez has a good voice and her production is very good, actually there’s something that I didn’t understand from this album, is that I don’t know why they changed the lyrics and “rhythm” from “I’m real” and “ain’t it funny” I think that the new version are good but also the other one swere also very good, in the case of “I’m gonna be alright” I must say that the new rhythm is very, very good.
I’d like to rate this album with 5 stars because her hits are very well remixed but it’s a petty that they changed the original version of “I’m real” which is one of my favorites songs.
If you have the album “J.LO” I think that you all would agree with me.

Some Biography of Jenifer Lopez

September 22, 2006
jennifer lopez foto Jennifer Lynn Lopez was borned (July 24, 1969) and raised in the Castle Hill neighborhood in The Bronx, New York City, New York to Puerto Rican parents Guadalupe Rodríguez and David Lopez. She has two

sisters, Lynda and Leslie. “Our parents had a strong work ethic – there wasn’t really any other way,” Lynda Lopez told Rolling Stone. Lopez’ parents also stressed cultural assimilation, especially the need to speak English. Lopez spent much of what she called “the boyfriend years” secretly meeting with first-love, Davíd Cruz, with whom she remained in a relationship between the ages of 16 and 25. “I was always climbing out windows, jumping off roofs, and he was sneaking up,” she said. “It was crazy.” Lopez spent her entire academic career in Catholic school and acknowledges that she still prays regularly.[citation needed] Lopez financed singing and dancing lessons for herself from the age of 17. After leaving a one semester-long career at Baruch College, Lopez divided her time between working in a legal office, dance classes, and dance performances in Manhattan clubs at night. After months of auditioning for dance roles, Lopez was selected as a dancer for various rap artists’ music videos, and was given a guest spot on the American Music Awards. After being rejected for the role twice, Lopez gained her first regular high profile gig as a “Fly Girl” dancer on the television comedy program In Living Color in 1991. Soon after Jeniffer Lopez became a back-up dancer for famed singer Janet Jackson and made an appearance in her 1993 video “That’s The Way Love Goes”. Scheduled and contracted to go on Janet Jackson’s World Tour, she asked the superstar to be let out of her contract to pursue her acting dreams.
