And for all the time she spends walking around butt naked, she should have spent taking voice lessons. I mean madonna did do it first-and bettr I might add. And speaking of Madonna isn’t this trying to be one of her discs. The first single “Say My Nam…Opp’s I mean “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” is just a rippoff of the now trademark Destiny Child’s sound. Do we really need another song about someone else’s money? Another disgusting track is “Secretly” a song in which Lopez sounds as if she just left a room full of cigar smokers and came out with fleghm in her throat. The production teams do try to cover up Lopex’s flaws. Her inability to sing is something that they can’t work around. She does have the abiliy to carry a tune but only a few steps though. The disc does have a little bit of sunshine at least. “Come Over” plays up on Jennifer’s sex kitten persona lovely as she plays willing participant to all of your desires. But for all it’s worth Jenifer Lopez is like your second love. She is not the original but does have creepy qualities that your first love had. Lopez has the Steps of Paula Abdul, the star quality and production of Janet Jackson and the sassiness just good enogugh to win all the Teen People “Artist Of The Year” awards that her little arms can carry.
